International courses, conferences
The Hungarian Prosecution Service assumes an active role in international professional life. Colleagues regularly participate in professional events abroad and provide briefings to the organisation.
The European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) provides training opportunities, short and long-term exchange programmes for judges and prosecutors within the European Union. The Hungarian Prosecution Service is a regular participant in EJTN's programmes as well
internships at EUROJUST,
study visits to EU judicial institutions, and,
professional exchange programmes
always have Hungarian representatives.
Similarly, the Hungarian Prosecution Service participates in the International Law Enforcement Academy’s (ILEA) trainings available for prosecutors as well.
The Hungarian Prosecution Service also organizes international conferences. The most important international conferences of recent years, organised by the Hungarian Prosecution Service are the following:
the General Conference of Attorneys General of the Member States of the European Council in 2005,
the EUROJUSTICE Conference of Prosecutors General of the European Continent in 2010,
the annual conference of the Network of Public Prosecutors or equivalent institutions at the Supreme Judicial Courts of the Member States of the European Union in 2012,
the annual meetings of the Prosecutors General of the Visegrád Group in 2014 and 2018.
